I first joined Absa as a Junior Software Engineer in a part-time capacity during studies. I am now continuing my journey within the Consumer Product Squad. By working across two teams simultaneously, I am gaining experience in the Cross-All and QA team. Below are some of my key projects.
EventGate lambda (GitHub link)
Python AWS Lambda that exposes a simple HTTP API (via API Gateway) for validating and forwarding well-defined JSON messages to multiple backends (Kafka, EventBridge, Postgres). Designed for centralized, schema-governed event ingestion with pluggable writers.
AquaSec scan (GitHub link)
Python-based Composite Action that integrates security scan results directly into the GitHub Security tab to improve developer workflow. The entire project was built using AI Spec-driven development methodologies.
Living Documentation Generator (GitHub link)
Composite Python GitHub Actions that introduce a new approach to software documentation known as living documentation. This approach emphasizes keeping documentation constantly up-to-date and accurate, allowing it to serve as a single source of truth (SSOT) for all stakeholders.
